Ante Up for Hunger Event

Approximately 175 people "Anted-Up for Hunger" at Yad Ezra's warehouse on Saturday evening, March 5th. Attendees played Bingo, Texas Hold'em, bid on a variety of Silent Auction items, won door prizes, noshed and mingled at the organization's 6th casino event. Co-chairs, Nancy Kleinfeldt and Amy Schlussel worked tirelessly to ensure a successful and fun-filled night to benefit Yad Ezra. Special thanks to Nancy Baron, our controller for the event, Spencer Steel, Yad Ezra's pit boss and Richard Simtob, Yad Ezra president, for their time, energy and dedication to run a poker tournament this year.

Thanks also to the many committee members who shopped, chopped, cropped, mopped and worked hard to top last year's totals! More than $43,000 was "Anted Up" this year. Proceeds from the event help provide 1,600 families with free groceries every month.
