Every fall, Yad Ezra hosts an annual fundraiser which pays tribute to a person or couple in the community whose efforts on behalf of our organization are recognized. The event, combined with a Program Journal, accounts for a major portion of Yad Ezra's operating budget and is used to purchase nutritious groceries, healthcare items and household goods for the organization's 1,600 client families. Almost 3,700 individuals rely on Yad Ezra every month for assistance. One in twenty members of the metro Jewish community relies on Yad Ezra!

Yad Ezra, an independent agency, is supported by the generosity of thousands of families in metro Detroit. The partnership between Yad Ezra and the community enables more than 850,000 pounds of groceries to be distributed annually.
