Yad Ezra’s Annual Fundraising Dinner
On September 25, 2019, Yad Ezra will host its annual fundraising dinner to pay tribute to a person or couple in the community whose efforts on behalf of our organization are recognized. This year, we will honor Michele and Eli Saulson at Congregation Shaarey Zedek, starting at 6:00 p.m. with a strolling supper provided by Quality Kosher Catering, and following by a brief program. The event, combined with a Program Journal, accounts for a major portion of Yad Ezra’s operating budget and is used to purchase nutritious groceries, healthcare items and household goods for the organization’s 1,250 client families. Over 2,500 individuals rely on Yad Ezra every month for assistance. One in twenty members of the metro Jewish community relies on Yad Ezra!
Yad Ezra, an independent agency, is supported by the generosity of thousands of families in metro Detroit. The partnership between Yad Ezra and the community enables more than 1,100,000 pounds of groceries to be distributed annually.
Sincere thanks to Michele and Eli, our honorees; and, to Bob Aronson and Bryce Sandler, our dinner co-chairs.
