You are the missing ingredient

At Yad Ezra, Michigan’s kosher food pantry, this year confronted all of us with unique challenges. Through it all, we distributed food to all of our food insecure clients. We are proud to say that we didn’t miss a day of distributions to our clients. We were able to do this because of support from donors, from you! – People who took action and understood that the needs of low-income families would be even greater during the pandemic.

Additional challenges we met this year include providing sister agencies with help when they had limited access to groceries, we faced an increase in food costs across the board and provided PPE equipment to all of our clients throughout the pandemic. Our greenhouse increased its production by more than double in order to supplement our limited access to fresh produce for our clients this year.

For the past thirty years, Yad Ezra has held an annual fundraising dinner in order to raise the funds necessary to purchase groceries that we distribute during the course of a year.

This year, we are paying tribute to Nancy Berman Kleinfeldt and her children, Adin, Caleb and Grace Kleinfeldt.  Nancy and her children have been active supporters and leaders at Yad Ezra for 20 years. Learn More about Nancy and her family

We welcome you to join us at our annual event.
