UPDATED MESSAGE ABOUT COVID-19
Regarding Coronavirus
from:
Alan Reiter, President
Lea Luger, Director
We continue to provide our client families with access to our services and don’t want anyone to feel insecure or concerned that their reliance on our food distribution could be in jeopardy.
We continue to monitor the situation carefully. Our current delivery process is as follows:
- Clients receive grocery deliveries from Yad Ezra on their scheduled food receipt date, Sunday – Thursday, approximately every 3-5 weeks.
- Until further notice, we are delivering only pre-packaged grocery orders. THERE IS NO CLIENT PICKUP AT THE BUILDING.
- Grocery deliveries take place within the delivery window of 12 noon – 5 p.m.
Unfortunately, we are not be able to accommodate personal selection of foods. We are accommodating the size of families as much as possible in our deliveries, and food is be pre-packaged based on family size.
Please know that this is subject to change based on developments in the situation.
Эффективно НЕМЕДЛЕННО, мы переключаемся ТОЛЬКО на ПРЯМУЮ ДОСТАВКУ.
For Our Dedicated Volunteers:
We are certain you are aware of the fluidly changing situation regarding the coronavirus in the world and in our community. We will do everything within our power to continue to deliver food to our client population.
As of Monday, April 6, 2020 Yad Ezra began, and continues, to deliver groceries to clients’ homes. No pickups will be at the building until further notice. We still need volunteer drivers to deliver groceries and still need some volunteers in Yad Ezra’s building to help with packing and loading. Please be in touch with Darlene, our volunteer coordinator, 248.548.3663, for details or with any questions.
Yad Ezra continues to be open for business during these challenging times. Please call ahead if you are making food donations or have other questions.
