Over the past few years at Yad Ezra, we’ve been unwavering in our commitment to providing food to every client facing food insecurity. We’re immensely proud to say that not a single day of distribution was missed. This remarkable achievement was made possible by the incredible generosity of our donors and the dedication of our volunteers, who recognized the urgent needs of low-income families and stepped up to meet them.
In 2024, these challenges intensified. We witnessed a staggering 30% increase in the number of clients seeking assistance, alongside a 20% surge in food costs. Despite these hurdles, we didn’t just maintain our efforts; we expanded them. We extended our support to sister agencies struggling with limited access to groceries, and in response to the scarcity of fresh produce, our greenhouse more than doubled its production, ensuring that our clients received the nutritious food they deserve.
