Annual Fundraising Event 2023 Honorees:
Susan and David Feber
This year, Yad Ezra will honor Susan and David Feber at the organization’s 33rd annual fundraising event. Susan and David are involved in many Metro Detroit Jewish Community organizations. They have been leaders at Hillel Day school, Tamarack Camps, Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit, JFMD Women’s Philanthropy, The Zekelman Holocaust Center, Frankel Jewish Academy, Hillel of Metro Detroit and several community synagogues. Susan and David have a long history of giving and connection to Yad Ezra. Several generations of family members on both sides of their family have volunteered and continue to volunteer at Yad Ezra, from distributing groceries to clients at the warehouse and organizing holiday programs for client families to delivering groceries to client homes throughout COVID and beyond. Susan and David are the proud parents of Max (24), Harry (19) and Julia (16).
Importantly, they also understand the new reality of Yad Ezra. In these post-pandemic times, with high interest rates and much higher food costs than last year, Yad Ezra’s needs are great. Families who were just making it a year ago are struggling now.
Susan and David are committed to this year’s Mission:Possible, understanding that working together, we can continue to support the many vulnerable community members who need our support.
