COVID-19 affected all of us. We at Yad Ezra felt strongly that our food insecure clients needed to be helped, maybe more than ever, to receive their food and not to have the additional worry of how that would happen during these stressful times. Our small team worked hard to find a way, and so we switched to a delivery only model of food delivery, which continues currently. This short video was produced to share our pride, success and good feelings about what happened and is happening at Yad Ezra during the pandemic. Jewish Family Service helps us tremendously with approximately half of our deliveries, but as always, we couldn’t do this important work without a truly dedicated core of volunteers.
